I am so excited you’re joining the 100 Happy Days Link Up. If you would like to know a little more about how this party got started I would love for you to check it out.
Meanwhile, here are a few of my HAPPY MOMENTS from the week. For a while I was counting them off… I’m not sure when that stopped! I wonder if I’ve reached 100 yet?
New Year’s Supper
Just so you know… I think New Year’s Day traditional lunch is the worst. menu. ever. So we had our own delicious, altered version. I would much rather eat Brussel Sprouts than greens any day!
Whitlee has gotten really into “helping” Mama in the kitchen. She loves opening packages and dumping them! Messy memories at their best.
And, of course, our little garbage disposal loves to clean up the leftover… with her mouth! I’ve never met a baby that eats like this one.
Worst Family Day Ever
Really. Sometimes I wonder why I plan these elaborate events. Well, this one wasn’t super elaborate, but I’ve been wanting to get a bike ride since Bradlee was born. Craig and I carried our bikes everywhere pre-kids, rode frequently with Whitlee, but had no way to transport 2 until recently. So we loaded the Lees up after nap time one day for a frigid bike ride.
Craig had a flat tire.
Whitlee was miserable.
Bradlee had a blast.
I’m still questioning my event planning decisions.
“OH NO! Bwocks bake!”
I went a little blocks crazy this Christmas.
There are so many types and they all offer a slightly different development goal so I just couldn’t help myself! This week I opened the Duplo’s for the first time and they were a huge hit. I was shocked at how long Whit would sit in the floor and build (#momwin!) but I get so tickled whenever her towers would tip because she yells, “Mama! OH NO! Bwocks bake. Uh-oh!” This little learning to (really) talk stage is so precious.
If you follow me on Instagram you already saw this (if not, pop over and get the details!)… but I think it’s so adorable! Definitely worth sharing one more time!
My New Love
I may be slightly obsessive with the idea of being organized (I mean I’ve spent the last 48 hours compiling my perfect Life/Blog Planner. More to come on that). And fun, organizational contraptions are just enough to make me giddy. I found this bad boy TODAY and realized it was the perfect solution to my fruit basket issues. I love that I can see every piece of fruit (and some veggies) that we have without overwhelming my countertop. I won’t tell you how many times I stopped cooking supper to gaze lovingly at my new fruit tray (and take pictures of it, of course).
